Some interesting sayings

Term "Cassandra-like warnings" - "I told u so in advance"

In Greek mythology, Cassandra (also known as Alexandra) was a daughter of King Priam and Queen Hecuba of Troy. Her beauty caused Apollo to grant her the gift of prophecy (more correctly, prescience). However, when she did not return his love, Apollo placed a curse on her so that no one would ever believe her predictions.

the saying, "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth".Actually its "Do look a Greek horse in the mouth(near your sea shore), you may find an invading (Greek) army in it's belly." The real saying is "Beware of Greeks bearing gifts".LOL..

"A bad penny always comes back". means A bad investor always blames operator...ROFL...
